I need an Overlord's Castle! [Open]
Character(s): Overlord Zetta and Open
Content: Zetta is causing trouble in a nearby castle!
Setting:Vyers' Mid-Boss's Castle
Time: Not long after Laharl's annoncement
Notes/Warnings: Zetta is his own warning.
Refusing to abide under the sway of another Overlord as a matter of pride, the almighty book Zetta had settled down for an extremely long argument with the Dimensional Gatekeeper over whether or not he should be allowed to use said Dimensional Gate. Zetta won the argument, inasmuch as he argued for so long that the Gatekeeper finally had to sprint to the bathroom... but as it happened, he couldn't work the damn gate without her.
So he did what any respectable Overlord would have done in this case: he packed the hell up and got the hell out of this stupid castle. Without any particular aim, he found himself wandering through green fields that looked shockingly pleasant and were home to several enemies who would be blatantly easy to defeat while also teaching him about Geo Effects, but these held no interest for him. No, he'd spotted something in the distance worth heading towards: a castle.
"Visiting hours are open!" he proclaimed as his lugging-minion booted open the front doors. Within moment, a dozen of his minions spread out through the foyer of the castle it had led to, with the book in their midst, smirking. "Hyaaa ha ha ha ha! It's a bit gaudy, but I have no problems conquering this castle! Soon I will be king of this heap, and soon enough, the entire cosmos again!"

get off my lawn
The noise startled Vyers off of the lounge in his room, sending him sprawling to the floor with a long-suffering groan. He was used to things like this, at least, although that was when he had a number of people who respected and followed him.
Vyers rose to his feet and fixed his hair in with a single runthrough of his practiced hand as he stepped into the foyer. "I am afraid that this castle is currently occupied," he said, placing a hand on his hip. "However, there are plenty of other castles in the area should you wish to conquer them."
Re: get off my lawn
The book smirked, as suddenly an array of low-level but still pointy-stabby weapons pointed in Vyers's direction.
"Swear fealty to me and I'll allow you to remain in my Overlord's castle!"

"Pardon moi, but did you say 'Overlord's castle?'"

Vyers fell silent for a moment. "While I commend you for your ambition, would it not be better to use your own name in your conquests? Or... title, as it were."

"Well, I suppose it could be possible with certain Confine magics, but..." Surely he could see how it would be hard to believe.
Now how in the world did he get the most Badass Freakin' Overlord in the Cosmos out of his house without being laser-eyed to a bloody pulp?

"Of course it's possible! It actually happened! I bound my soul to the Sacred Tome to preserve my existence, because dying because a stupid book is on fire is probably the stupidest way anybody could go out! And now I'm clawing my way back to embodiment, which means I need an Overlord's castle. Because I'm a freaking Overlord!"
Zetta seemed very hung up on this point, possibly out of some subconscious sense that his alternative was a doghouse.

"And there are plenty of castles in this area. Why go after the first you have seen when there are others whose layout you might prefer? One must also think about location as well. And property value, of course. Have you even inspected this castle yet?" Not that his castle wasn't perfect as it was (second only to the Overlord's Castle in his opinion), but he had to do what he had to do.
After all, it may not have been the mark of a proud demon, but facing the most Badass Freakin' Overlord in the Cosmos while outnumbered and without a plan or backup was the mark of a foolish demon.

Not that he'd done any walking without legs, but it was principle.

He interrupted himself by clearing his throat loudly. "That is to say... There is a castle not too far from here by the name of 'Dinero Palace.' As the name implies, quite a bit of money is invested there."

Zetta weighed in his mind the benefits. A longer distance from the main castle and its shops and resources would be annoying, and tacky was bad, but then again, this castle had the worst and most shamefully un-demon-like names for its various parts that he'd ever seen in his 35,000 years. You could swap out decor, but you couldn't trade away shame.
"All right. I'll at least look at the other place before making my decision. Lead the way there."
